Bose Ogulu claimed in a recent BBC interview that she gained vital things about artist management despite spending only a brief time with Fela and his crew (Egypt 80). She claimed that she knew from a young age that Fela’s manager, Benson Idonije, her father, had more obligations than the singer. These responsibilities included paying band members and completing various chores. Bose stated that her father oversaw the crew and that all of the saxophonist’s band members approached him rather than Fela. She stressed the necessity of competent management for an artiste, claiming that it has had a huge impact on her current career in artist management. The powerful Nollywood movie producer Ason Rich has been reportedly identified as the leader of the nine-man kidnapping gang. Apart from Ason Rich, a fast-rising Nollywood actor, Prince Henry Odenigbo, was also identified as one of the men shot dead by the Nigerian police. According to blogger and actor Stanley Ontop, Ason Rich is one of the biggest movie producers in Asabawood. In a video shared online, Ontop revealed some of the movies Ason Rich has produced and the actors he has worked with, including Yul Edochie, Obio Oluebube, Uche Nancy, and many others. Revolvers Scoop | July, 2024 Some youths were reported to have lined up a programme to mark what they described as ‘Aye cultism day celebration’ on Sunday, July 7, 2024, in the ancient town. Part of the activities lined up to celebrate the occasion, according to an intelligence report leaked to security men, was the initiation of new members. Aye is one of the secret cults and non-traditional groups formed by youths based on belief in mystical powers. It was gathered that some youths, in collaboration with security men who worked on intelligence reports, went from street to street to round up the suspects. A source, simply identified as Jiji Jack, based in Gboko, told our correspondent that some volunteer youths collaborated with policemen to fish out the suspects who had gathered for the celebration

Resolving Minimum Wage will Stop Violent Protests - FG Warns

Politics    The Centre for Crisis Communication (CCC) has issued a stern warning to the Nigerian government, urging immediate action to resolve the ongoing minimum wage negotiations with organized labour. Christopher Olukolade (Rtd), Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the CCC, emphasized the critical need for the government to engage constructively with labour representatives to prevent the escalation of the minimum wage issue into violence. The CCC, which monitors and analyzes national crisis situations, has identified the prolonged minimum wage discussions as a trigger that could lead to public disorder if not addressed promptly.
